Commercial operations
Regulations and licences for commercial operationsCommercial flight operations are internationally defined as commercial air transportation or any other use of aircraft for commercial purposes, such as aerial work or aircraft hire. Commercial operations in Finland require an Air Operator Certificate granted by the Finnish Civil Aviation Authority. There are many different types of commercial flight operations. The clearest examples are commercial air transportation and aerial work. Commercial operations are governed by stricter and more numerous regulations than private flights. These regulations aim to ensure that passengers, cargo and company staff reach their destination safely.
