Services related to airworthiness and maintenance
Airworthiness and maintenance issues are handled by the Airworthiness Department under the Finnish Transport Safety Authority’s Aviation Sector. The Department is further divided into units responsible for aeronautical products, aircraft maintenance and sport aviation. EASA assumed all duties assigned to it in the EASA regulation after a 42-month transition period, in March 2007. This has affected the services provided by the Airworthiness Department of CAA Finland. |
