Vietnam - Finland - Air Services Agreement


The Finland - Vietnam Air Services Agreement was signed in 2000. but it has not yet entered into
force.

Designation principles

Single designation. A designation may be refused if one Party is not satisfied that substantial
ownership and effective control of a designated airline are vested in the Party designating the airline
or in its nationals.

Traffic rights for designated airlines of Finland

Route possibilities: Points in Finland - Two intermediate points - Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City - One point beyond
Fifth freedom rights may be exercised only if this is separately agreed between the aeronautical authorities.
Unused traffic rights are presently available.

Capacity regime

Capacity shall be closely related to the traffic demand between the territories of the Parties. Traffic programmes shall be submitted for approval.

Tariff regime

Double approval. Tacit approval if no response within 20 days after the date of filing.
