Egypt - Finland - Air Services Agreement


The Finland - Egypt Air Services Agreement was signed in 1979 and is in force.

Designation principles

Single designation. A designation may be refused if one Party is not satisfied that substantial ownership
and effective control of the designated airline are vested in the Party designating the airline or in its
nationals.

Traffic rights for the designated airline of Finland

Route possibilities: Helsinki - any one or two intermediate points - Cairo. The aeronautical authorities may agree on extending the route to points beyond Cairo. Fifth freedom rights at the intermediate point(s) may be agreed between the aeronautical authorities. Unused traffic rights are presently available.

Capacity regime

Capacity to be offered and frequency of the services shall be agreed between the aeronautical authorities.

Tariff regime

Double approval. Tacit approval if no response within 30 days after the date of filing.
