Chile - Finland - Air Services Agreement


The Finland - Chile Air Services Agreement was initialled in June 2005. The Agreement has not yet
been signed. Pending its entry into force the principles of the Agreement are provisionally applied.

Traffic rights for designated airlines of Finland

Route possibilities: Any point(s) behind - Any point(s) in Finland - Any intermediate point(s) - Any point(s) in Chile - Any point(s) beyond. 5th freedom rights may be exercised to intermediate points and/or to beyond points. Unused traffic rights are available.

Capacity regime

Designated airlines may freely determine capacity to be provided.

Tariff regime

Prices may be established by designated airlines based on commercial considerations in the marketplace. Intervention possibilities by authorities are limited to the prevention of unreasonably discriminatory prices or practices, protecting consumers from prices that are unreasonably high or restrictive due to abuse of a dominant position, and protecting airlines from prices that are artificially low due to direct or indirect governmental subsidy or support.
