Organisation of the Aviation Sector
Trafi Aviation consists of four departments and the unit for flight safety analysis.
The Aviation Sector is managed by Mr Kim Salonen, Director General of Civil Aviation. The Director General is assisted by a Management Group which consists of all department directors.

The Flight Operations Division deals with air operator certificates and approvals for aerial work, flying displays and competitions. It also oversees flight operations, e.g. by ramp inspections.
